Alberobello
It isn’t called the town of trulli for nothing. Alberobello is indeed a true capital of the trulli with 1500 trulli of different shapes and sizes. In fact, the trulli of Alberobello have been declared a world heritage site by UNESCO.
The trulli of Alberobello are traditional conical stone buildings found throughout central-southern Apulia. Standing out is the Trullo Sovrano: the only two-storey trullo in Alberobello, now used as a museum set up with the original furniture.
